Rider Reminders

Morning

  • The morning drop-off begins at 7:30 in the morning. Children should remain in the vehicle until a teacher/staff is present at the drop-off location.
  • Encourage your child to be ready to exit as soon as the car is completely stopped. If more time is needed, please circle around the loop.
  • Children should exit/enter the vehicle from the passenger side of the vehicle.
  • All cars should remain in a single line in front of the drop-off/pick-up location. We appreciate your patience when our youngest Cubs take a little extra time.
  • The side gate leading to the car lane will close at 8:10. If the gate is closed when you pull in, please park in the front and walk your child to the front door.

Afternoon

  • Cars may line up as early as 2:45, but you must be in line before 3:30 pm.
  • You must have a car rider tag to go through the afternoon line. Your tag will be collected by a staff member at the beginning of the line so that your child can be lined up at the appropriate time. If you do not have your car rider tag, please stop by the office with your valid photo ID to pick up a temporary tag for the day.
  • Afternoon car riders move in two lines.  Students will walk down the middle of the two lines to get into the car.  For the safety of our cubs, students must enter the car from the middle of the two lines.   Students are not permitted to walk between cars to load on a different side.
  • The loading zone is a cell phone-free zone, and our campus is a tobacco-free zone.

Morning and Afternoon

  • Whether in the morning or afternoon, cars must yield to buses.
  • Please be patient with our staff who are working in the car lines. If you have a question, complaint, or suggestion about arrival and dismissal procedures, please address those to Mrs. Schmidt or Mrs. Tunia.

Track Your Bus

Using the MyStop app you may track a bus. Once they download it and enter their student’s ID number, they can see where the bus is. Keep in mind, that if a bus is newer, they may not have the GPS software for the app in place yet, but it will have it in the coming weeks.
